My name is Beau Melton and I grew up in the LC Valley since 2005. I attended the University of Idaho in 2016 and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors of Finance and Minor in Economics. I now work as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones serving the Palouse region in Moscow. My passions include reading (of course), anything outdoors, golf, enjoying a movie at the local theatre, and spending time with family. From a young age, I have been a book worm. I have found reading to provide me with a way to learn and to destress at the end of the day. The Latah County Library Foundation has provided with me an opportunity to support our local libraries and the children that use them. Libraries are so critical by giving children an opportunity to learn, expand their vocabulary, enjoy a good story, and to pursue subjects they are passionate about. I want all children to have the opportunity to pick up a book they are passionate about and I am proud to be apart of an organization that supports our communities in such a meaningful and impactful way.
